How to setup a Domain Redirect in the DirectAdmin Control Panel

Site redirectors are used to redirect a user that is attempting to access a subdirectory on your site, to another URL. For example, you could setup a redirect to direct a user that is attempting to access http://www.hardlines.com/support to http://support.hardlines.com.

  1. Login to the DirectAdmin Control Panel (located at http://da1.hardlines.com or http://www.yourdomain.com/admin).

  2. In the Username field, type your administrator username.
  3. In the Password field, type your administrator password, and click Login.
  4. Once logged in, your screen will look like this:

  5. Under the Advanced Menu field, select Site Redirection.

  6. Enter your redirector location into the Local URL Path field.
  7. Enter where you would like the user to be directed to in the Destination URL field.
  8. Click the Save button.

  9. Note: After creation of your redirect, you can then delete a redirect, or create another redirect from this screen.
