How to install a program using the InstallaTron through DirectAdmin Control Panel

    Installatron is used as an automated system installer. Using Installatron, you can setup up a variety of different software programs for use on your website. For example, you can install weblog (blog) programs, content management systems, portal programs, forums, ecommerce, photo gallery, calendar, or surveys.

     

  1. Login to the DirectAdmin Control Panel (located at http://da1.hardlines.com or http://www.yourdomain.com/admin).

  2. In the Username field, type your administrator username.
  3. In the Password field, type your administrator password, and click Login.
  4. Once logged in, your screen will look like this:


  5. Under the Advanced Menu field, select Installatron.


  6. Select which script you want to install from the (select a script) field.
  7. Once you select a script to install, a new page will load with a description of that script. For this example, I have selected WordPress, which is blogging software.


  8. Click the New Install button.

    9. Note: After clicking New Install you will be prompted with different options for the installation you chose. Follow directions carefully, most options are straightforward and well explained.
